From November 15 to 21, design lovers have an appointment at Christie’s in Paris. The Art Design Lab, a new platform dedicated to “the secret and moving phase of the creative process of international designers”, created by Karine Scherrer, exhibits the preparatory drawings of ten contemporary designers including Victoria Wilmotte, Eric Schmitt and José Lévy. Officially launched this Thursday, November 16th, The Art Design Lab aims to create a meeting with its designers, and allow collectors to add to the rarity of their acquisition. Whereas in New York Christie’s beat all records a few hours earlier with the sale of Leonardo da Vinci’s last known painting (the “Salvator Mundi”), in Paris contemporary design is not left out with this new project, whose fine days are already predicted.
