BARRIE Opens a Pop-Up to Celebrate its Iconic Denim Range
Arguably BARRIE’s most iconic piece since its launch in 2018, the denim cashmere jacket has earned itself a special place in the Maison’s heritage. During Paris Fashion Week, BARRIE opened a pop-up store on 23 rue Cambon, where the pieces of its new capsule collection, a tribute to its denim range, are exposed in an exhibition devoted to the brand’s know-how and the story of the denim cashmere jacket. Until November 30th, guests can discover the key steps behind the manufacturing of the BARRIE jacket in Scotland, from the threading of the cashmere by Todd & Duncan, established in Kinross in 1867, to the knitting and assembly stages at the BARRIE factory, founded in Hawick in 1903. Some of the friends of the Maison who came to discover the Pop-Up at a cocktail party were Laura Bailey, Amrit, Andreas Giesen, and Lily Taïeb.
