Balzac Paris Settles in the Heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés
Founded in 2014, Balzac Paris is a family adventure. Resolutely committed to its customers and inhabited by the desire to be “Toujours Plus Responsable” (Always More Responsible), the brand retains the humble conviction that it’s always possible to do more and to do better. To stay on course, the brand relies on three main pillars: ethics, sustainability and ecology. To complete its digital presence, Balzac opened its first boutique in the 10th arrondissement of Paris just over a year ago.
As with its first address on Rue d’Hauteville, Balzac Paris was assisted in this new project by the architectural firm RMGB and settled in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, at 116 Rue du Bac. The boutique is thought through to the smallest detail, drawing on local craftsmanship and evoking French savoir-faire with sustainable materials. In this space of over 200 square meters, one can find emblematic fabrics by Maison Pierre Frey, refined hanging lamps by Danke Galerie and exceptional ceramics by Normandy Ceramics, bringing elegance and modernity to this new signature interior. Nothing was left to chance at this new address, where we were able to cross paths with Philippine Darblay, Alysson Paradis, Camille Pidoux, Philippine Delaire, Sofiia Manousha, Lise Pieron, Sirikit and many others.
