The elegance of latex: a front row seat at Avellano Fall/Winter 2022-23
Arthur Avellano’s name is on everyone’s lips. The young designer from Toulouse has set himself the mission of democratizing latex. And it is a successful bet. On the official schedule of Paris Fashion Week, he presented a collection glorifying this material too often reduced to fetishism. The designer brilliantly proves how latex can be flexible, comfortable and contemporary, especially with long flowing trenchcoats or strapless dresses at the cutting edge of elegance. The material is worked like silk, with pleats, knots and delicate manipulations. Something to please Chloé Lecareux, Sam Quealy, Anouchka Gauthier or Miss Fame, all sitting front row.
