Aurélia Stouls and India Mahdavi Unveil their Collaboration
Fashion Week may be over, yet on Thursday 21st, we attended the unveiling of a collaboration between Aurélia Stouls and French architect and designer India Mahdavi. The STOULS x India Mahdavi bags were unveiled at the heart of India Mahdvi’s project room, currently home to the multi-disciplinary exhibition FOREIGN FLOWERS. This is the very first bag collection for the French label, renowned for its exceptional leather, and is the result not only of a partnership but also of a longstanding friendship between the two designers. Inspired by their shared passion for travel and innovation, Aurélia Stouls and India Mahdavi have reinterpreted the JUSTIN model taking up the STOULS signature codes, such as the emblematic leather tartan. As an organic growth of the project, India has translated the “Weekend Bag” spirit into a unique and singular piece, the GELATO armchair.
During the launch evening, we had the pleasure of meeting Aurélia Stouls and India Mahdavi, alongside Sarah Andelman, Harry Nuriev, Philippine Darblay and many more.
