“Aujourd’hui et pour toujours”, Schiaparelli’s Very First Ready-To-Wear Collection
Under the creative leadership of Daniel Roseberry, who took over as Schiaparelli’s head of design in 2019, the House has come to embody surrealist-inspired motifs adorning impeccably executed haute couture silhouettes. In the face of its first-ever ready-to-wear collection, expectations were naturally very high. And yet the American designer lived up to the task. A unanimous success, this new version of Schiaparelli stuck to the House’s codes: silhouettes of timeless elegance, immaculate cuts and its signature opulent jewellery. Double-breasted jackets, gathered sleeves, epaulettes, oversized coats, and natural Japanese denim, if you’re looking for the definition of luxury, it’s called Schiaparelli, now and forever.
