Atelier Spiga 50 launches at Paris Fashion Week
A new luxury ready-to-wear house, Atelier Spiga 50 is the result of the vision of its artistic director Danilo Forestieri. The designer unveiled his first Fall/Winter 2022-23 at the calendar of Paris Fashion Week during an event held at the Four Seasons Hotel George V. A collection meant as a tribute to Hollywood glamour which the designer, a graduate of the Accademia Koefia in Rome and a regular on red carpets, has always been inspired by, and which transposes the world of French lingerie to that of an ultra-feminine ready-to-wear. With Atelier Spiga 50, the designer intends to highlight Italian craftsmanship: the collection was made entirely in Milan with fabrics from workshops in Como and Florence, and leather pieces designed by master craftsmen from Tuscany and the south of the country. Founded in 2021, the House takes its name from Milan’s most famous shopping street, in the heart of the luxurious Quadrilatero della Moda, where the brand has its headquarters, showroom and flagship. In addition to ready-to-wear, the house will offer couture and lingerie collections, always “made in Italy”. Here’s a look back in pictures on the presentation with Sofia Resing or Anna Dello Russo.
