At the Green Rabbit party of Giuliano Sangiorgi, PJ Natuzzi and Fabio Novembre for Negramaro’s 20-year career
“Use me, tear me, tear my soul, do what you want with me as long as it doesn’t change the idea I have of you, green rabbit with a thousand funny faces”. It was 2005 when Negramaro’s single “Mentre tutto scorre” was released, and now the green rabbit has become an armchair. It is called Green Rabbit and is a work of art by singer Giuliano Sangiorgi, Natuzzi Italia creative director Pasquale Junior Natuzzi and architect Fabio Novembre, created to pay homage to the band’s 20-year career.
These three, together with friends from the worlds of music, creativity, design and entertainment, celebrated Green Rabbit with a very special evening: starting with an amazing dinner and continued with a marvelous party in the spaces of the Milanese Maka Loft. “With Green Rabbit we have given shape to a powerful image, carved in the memory of those who have followed us over the years. It encapsulates our music, our words, our ideas, the vision of a new world and future projects,’ Giuliano Sangiorgi said. A seat where comfort and sound come together: sinuous and enveloping volumes follow each other harmoniously in the armchair covered in green wool bouclé and made multisensory by a sound system integrated into the seat.
Many personalities of design, creativity and show business attended the celebratory event such as Blanco, Anna Dello Russo, Bruno Barbieri, Belen Rodriguez, Domenico Dolce, Giorgio Panariello, Yves Behar, Roberto Bolle, Etienne Russo, Gilda Ambrosio and Chiara Biasi.
“To this day I still get so many questions about the true meaning of ‘bunny green’. I want it to remain like that forever: my secret, a bit shrouded in mystery,’ Sangiorgi said. And if the meaning remains a secret, on the other hand, that green rabbit materialises in an armchair produced in a limited edition of 100 pieces that is music, creativity and art.
