Assouline Celebrates its 30th Anniversary at Maxim’s

Assouline’s story is one of shared passions, where words and images meet to create a chic and refined new aesthetic. Inspired by the beauty of the Colombe d’Or hotel, Martine and Prosper Assouline brought together their mutual love of literature, culture and travel in a first publication, which saw the light in 1994. Each Assouline publication was designed with utmost care and attention to detail, reflecting the founders’ keen eye and elevating books to the status of precious objects. The publishing house quickly made a name for itself thanks to its signature style and quality, making its editions a common sight on the bookshelves of anyone passionate about culture, luxury, fashion, gastronomy or design. Assouline has become a highly regarded international reference in the publishing world, seizing and sharing a curated insight into the essence of contemporary culture.

On September 10th, Assouline hosted an exclusive evening at Maxim’s to celebrate its 30th anniversary and the contributors that have participated in the blossoming of its name. During the cocktail reception, guests enjoyed a sneak preview of Assouline’s latest publication, a special anniversary edition tracing the roots and story of the publishing house through an intimate account. The evening featured live performances, including a jazz pianist and Ariel Wizman’s DJ set. We had the pleasure of meeting members of the Assouline family, Martine Assouline, Prosper Assouline, Alexandre Assouline, and Solange Assouline, alongside Jean Todt, Laurence Benaïm, Aline Coquelle, Gelasio Gaetani d’Aragona Lovatelli and Ora-ïto, to name but a few.
