Housed for three editions in the salons of the Hôtel Dassault at the Champs-Elysées roundabout – better known as the home of the Maison Artcurial – the “Intérieurs 2013” of AD magazine are unloading this year on the Left Bank. It is now at l’Enclos des Bernardins, facing Île St-Louis, that fourteen major names in international decoration are invited to rethink a room in the traditional Parisian home, from the bedroom to the office, including the living rooms, the kitchen or the garden (Hôtel particulier oblige).
A carte blanche for the group of aesthetes, who this year had to deal not only with a new residence, but also with the theme of the exhibition “Metamorphosis”. So how can a sublime 17th century mansion be transformed into a contemporary and ephemeral living space? The answer at 47, quai de la Tournelle, until September 22nd.
