Art Week Spreads to the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme

Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, Paris

Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme is hosting a unique exhibition by Ghanaian photographer Prince Gyasi during Paris Art Week. Curated by Constance Breton, this monographic show features the artist’s most famous works as well as previously unseen photographs, all available for purchase.

Born in 1995, Prince Gyasi is a self-taught visual artist who started photography with a smartphone at the age of 16. In 2023, he became the first Black photographer to produce the Pirelli calendar and was named one of Time Magazine’s Next Generation Leaders. Represented by the MAAT Gallery in Paris, Prince Gyasi is known for his vibrant compositions and unique vision influenced by his synesthesia. He explores universal themes such as hope and brotherhood, while redefining representations of Africa. Exhibited in the hotel lobby and at the Café Jeanne restaurant, his works echo the creation of a dedicated fragrance, imagined by the Maison’s perfumer, Blaise Mautin.

At the opening, we met Alexander Werz, Tina Lutz, Tjioe Meyer, Ibeyi and many others.
