Armonia Metis – The Echo, New Artistic Explorations at the Negropontes Gallery

From April 5th to June 15th, Parisian art gallery Negropontes invites us to discover its latest exhibition, Armonia Metis – The Echo.

The exhibition celebrates and embraces cultural diversity and multidisciplinarity through a fusion of cross-cultural influences and varied artistic expressions. It is also a privileged opportunity to admire the delicate glass sculptures by the creative duo Perrin & Perrin, which engage in dialogue with Mircea Cantor’s contemporary pieces.

Cantor’s works explore notions of contamination and purity, fragility and loss, thus evoking the ravages of the ongoing conflicts in Syria through fragments of debris. On their side, Martine and Jacki Perrin have been exploring the endless possibilities of glass for over forty years, playing with colours, transparencies and opacities to create works of great visual richness.  Beauty and reflection meet in an engaging dialogue, delivering a captivating artistic experience.

During the opening evening, we met Sophie Negropontes, founder and director of her eponymous gallery, alongside Elie Massouatis, Mircea Cantor, Laurence Benaïm, Simona Mirela Miculescu, Cordula von Keller, and many more.
