Armani Celebrates its 50th Anniversary at the Tesa 113 in Venice

Arsenale

During the Venice Film Festival, every event has its importance, even if it doesn’t take place on the red carpet. At the Tesa 113 of the Venetian Arsenal, a charming former shipyard, Armani gathered more than 500 guests to celebrate its 50th anniversary with the launch of ARMANI/Archivio, a digital platform dedicated to sharing the company’s heritage and now available at archivio.armani.com. The site is a contemporary database acting as a reference for thousands of looks, exporting from Milan to the rest of the world.

An exclusive dinner in aid of UNICEF kicked off the evening, setting the stage for an immersion into the world of Armani, where industrial architecture met a dreamlike atmosphere. Among the numerous guests, we spotted Sofia Carson, Jessica Williams, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Emanuela Fanelli, Miriam Leone and Stefano Accorsi.

A glamorous yet philantropic dinner, as the proceeds from the evening went to the Global Humanitarian Thematic Fund, UNICEF’s initiative that allows for rapid intervention in the most vulnerable regions of the world. But although fifty years of iconic designs can be recounted through a platform, they need an event to come to life: yesterday, at Tesa 113, the stage belonged to them.
