Antonio’s Club
Marc Zaffuto and Emmanuel d’Orazio celebrated the most Warholian of fashion illustrators at La Villa last Friday night. A flamboyant evening on the sets of DJs Louis Heel, Florian Sailer and Cristo Barr for a rich and ultra-furnished book, Antonio Lopez : Fashion, Art, Sex and Disco. Alexander Wang, Nicola Formichetti and Alexis Mabille were in attendance. Roger and Mauricio Padhila, the authors, too. Galia, the queen of the cabaret of L’Alcazar (Antonio’s fetish place in the 70s) even gave a Music Hall show. And Corey Tippin, a “factory kid” and great friend of the star drunk made the trip for the occasion. After such an evening, we have no doubt that Antonio’s brand will remain etched in our memories. Long live his art.
