Annelise Michelson settles on Rue Vertbois
Well-established in the jewelry world since launching in 2014, designer Annelise Michelson took a new step this week with the opening of her first boutique in Paris. The location, in the heart of the Marais, is perfectly chosen: on rue Vertbois, the street that also gave its name to a collective that encourages Parisian creation in this rapidly-growing district. The South African-born designer entrusted Mathias Kiss with the scenography to best highlight her collections (to which she recently added hair capsules). Color is an integral part thanks to the orange walls, on which hang portraits of artists and muses. The collections are complemented with an olfactory atmosphere provided by perfumer Frédéric Malle. For the boutique opening, Annelise Michelson invited friends and fans: Emily Marant, Dolores Doll and model Sofia Fanego, who bopped to a DJ set provided by Noemi Ferst and Benjamin Moreau of Radiooooo.com…
