American Vintage Presents an Exclusive Photography Series by Chiron Duong
Throughout the year, American Vintage contributes to the growth and exposure of emerging figures working in the fields of photography and design through partnerships. Since 2017, these include the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories held in Hyères. The brand doesn’t only organise in-store exhibitions and collaborations with artists, but it also dresses up its shop windows, thus delivering an up-to-date vision of the contemporary creative scene by offering visibility to the artists creating tomorrow’s world.
Vietnamese photographer Chiron Duong, who was awarded the American Vintage prize at the 37th edition of the Festival, has been given carte blanche to create an exclusive photography series for the brand. Entitled “Eternal: Time is water flowing through the palm”, the series captures intimate moments of lightness set in a forest in the north of his native country, and in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, a city that is very dear to him. This interplay of blurs and contrasts reflected in the series is echoed in the American Vintage collection, which embodies the spirit of Chiron Duong’s skilful photographs. The exhibition opening was an undisputed success that attracted many followers and friends of the brand.
