Alphabet Magazine Launches its Second Issue with the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris

Led by Donatien Grau and Thomas Lenthal, the Alphabet magazine came to life in September 2024, and is made by artists who are currently shaping the contemporary creative scene. This biannual publication features contributions from writers, musicians, designers, painters, sculptors and poets, giving a voice to talent from all horizons. They freely interpret the traditional columns of contemporary magazines through a myriad of formats: interviews, visual projects, essays, fictional stories and advice. American artist Laurie Anderson designed the cover of this second issue, which features words by Michael Amzalag, Laurie Anderson, Marisa Berenson, Marco Brambilla, Phong Bui, Joshua Cohen, Willem Dafoe, Elizabeth Diller, Lina Ghotmeh, Romeo Gigli, Emily Greenhouse, Daniel Humm, Miranda July, Na Kim, Glenn Ligon, José Tolentino Mendonça, Jill Mulleady, Federico Nicolao, Rick Owens, Peter Saville, Luigi Serafini, Maria Stepanova, Hito Steyerl, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Bénédicte Savoy by Francesco Vezzoli, Sarah Sze, Kulapat Yantrasas and Lynette Yiadom-Boakye.

During the launch event, which took place on Wednesday, April 9th at the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris, we met Maja Hoffmann, Hans Ulrich Obrist, India Mahdavi, Duran Lantink, Kamel Mennour, Simone Fattal, among others…
