All to the beach for the twenty years of colette

The atmosphere was festive on that first spring day at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris: colette celebrated its twentieth anniversary with a fun and unexpected installation by Snarkitecture. The New York artists’ studio has installed THE BEACH, an ocean of translucent plastic balls (recyclable and antibacterial, what’s more!) in which the numerous guests, from Emmanuelle Alt to JR, were invited to dive, surf on the inflatable buoys or lounge on one of the immaculate white deckchairs. Who hasn’t dreamt of seeing the gratin Parisian barefoot having fun with the carelessness of a child? The designers Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Arnaud Vaillant & Sébastien Meyer, journalist Sophie Fontanel, Mademoiselle Agnès and Willy Cartier have all been among those who have not hesitated to take a dive into this fashion tide. If some have tried the pirouettes, others will have remained more cautious. To catch their breath, a little tour of the bar to discover two summer cocktails and taste iced sorbets, before taking a pose behind the wheel of the BMW i3 colette, a unique model and 100% electric in the colours of the concept store now twenty years old. Happy birthday @colette!
