Ali Mahdavi’s glamorous portraits sublimate the Prince of Wales Hotel
We know Ali Mahdavi as much for his mysterious dandy look as for his now emblematic clichés with unparalleled precision and glamour. While Fashion Week shakes Paris between its fashion shows and its evenings, the photographer presents to the Prince of Wales (a Luxury Collection Hotel) an exhibition of nearly fifty works curated by the founder of the Alfalibra agency, Frédéric Fontan. With “Glamorama Celebrities by Ali Mahdavi”, the faces of Monica Bellucci, Arielle Dombasle, Naomi Watts, Kylie Minogue or Dita Von Teese embody the walls of the lobby, the bar Les Heures and the patio of the hotel until 23 October. The queen of the stripping was present to support her friend as prestigious guests, from Marie-Agnès Gillot to Ellen von Unwerth, Amanda Lear and Blanca Li, crowded into the hotel.
