Alexa Chung celebrates “La French” for L’Oréal Professionnel’s 110th anniversary
“La French” is the philosophy behind L’Oréal Professionnel, which celebrated its 110th anniversary this week with a grand “live hair show” at the Carrousel du Louvre. “La French” expresses the house’s hair-coloring expertise—which it showcased across some forty silhouettes in a scenography produced by the agency Mazarine. Onstage, icons like Debra Shaw and Georgina Grenville, and models like Anna Cleveland and Pauline Hoarau, proudly showed off creations by invited stylists: Odile Gilbert, John Nollet, Adir Abergel, Anh Co Tran, Godhands Joe and Gong Hive. In the audience, muses and friends of the house enjoyed the show from the first row, including Catherine Deneuve, Virginie Ledoyen, Stefi Celma and Elsa Zylberstein. The highlight was the explosive trio—Juliette Armanet, HollySiz and Kiddy Smile—featuring a voguing performance. The event went late into the night, concluding with a DJ set by Ofenbach.
