ALEOR Design and Amélie du Chalard Team Up with “Unravel, Unweave”
For the start of 2026, the ALEOR Design gallery is partnering with the Amélie du Chalard gallery to bring you “Unravel, Reweave”, a group exhibition featuring a variety of artistic approaches. A true dialogue between visual arts and design, the event highlights the intimate relationship between living things and human art. Some fifteen artists and designers have come together to explore materials in an original way, exhibiting works made from wood, textiles, roots, fibres and even bee propolis.
This tension between fragility and resilience calls for contemplation and mindfulness. ‘Unravel, Reweave’ thus becomes a living environment where materials, beings, and stories intertwine, offering a safe haven and a metaphor for carefully, poetically, and thoroughly weaving the world back together.
Amélie du Chalard presents artists Pola Carmen and Mirko Baricchi, while ALEOR Design brings together a community of designers and artists exploring materials, their supply chains and the relationships between them. Among these creators are sculptor Théophile de Bascher, designer and researcher Tony Jouanneau, and artists Diana Scherer, Rosana Escobar, Marlène Huissoud, Max Funkat, and Catalina Swinburn.
Alongside them at the exhibition opening, we met Nathalie Guiot, Amélie du Chalard, Alexia Venot, Alexis Marant and many others.
