Agnès b. Celebrates Her Comeback in Perfumery
Following her highly-anticipated apparition during Paris Fashion Week, fashion designer Agnès b. is also making a comeback in perfumery, unveiling two new creations: Le Parfum and L’Eau.
Inspired by the columns of the Château de Versailles, its refined and geometric flasks are enveloped in beautiful packages featuring photographs of magnolias and other mock orange trees, a little-known shrub from the hydrangea family, taken from their own garden. Created in collaboration with perfumer Isaac Sinclair, the fragrance offers sparkling top notes (green tea, lemon, pink peppercorns), a floral heart with syringa and tuberose, electrified by saffron, and a musky base with sandalwood and ambergris. As for the Eau, it has fresh top notes (nashi pear, sweet pea, neroli), a floral heart (seringa, peony, jasmine, magnolia) and a soft base (musk, sandalwood, blond cedar). Designed to be like a second skin, this fragrance comes in two olfactory signatures that share the same heart but have two distinct personalities.
