The 42nd Caesar’s Ceremony has a lot to talk about. After the Roman Polanski scandal that left this edition without a president, the prestigious ceremony did not let itself be dismantled and saw the best of French cinema rewarded for a year still rich in creation – and diversity.
Just after her consecration at the Golden Globes, Isabelle Huppert won the César for the best actress for “Elle” thanks to her electric performance. Gaspard Ulliel won the César for best actor for his role in Xavier Dolan’s acclaimed “Just the End of the World”, which was crowned best director.
