Emporio Armani Brings a Playful Twist to the Catwalk

Via Bergognone, Milan

For Emporio’s Fall-Winter 25/26 season, Giorgio Armani bets on playfulness. To do so, he has picked card games as leitmotif. The pattern is omnipresent throughout the collection, materialising in multiple ways, whether it’s details, inlays and prints, on clothes and accessories. This enriches the offerings which, in line with the brand’s DNA, are the result of a dialogue between masculine and feminine, like wide trousers, small shaped or extra-long jackets. The oversized coats act as a counterpoint to the mini trapeze dresses, decorated with bows and ruffles. From the very beginning, Emporio’s vision has been that of an urban style. The brand was actually among the first to mix formal pieces with casual ones. Thus bomber jackets are overlapped with little dresses and cargo trousers in shiny velvet, still experimenting with proportions. The materials, chosen to give density to the collection, include washed wools, wool and silk jacquards and printed velvets. The colour palette features neutral tones and blue, interrupted by pops of red or bright green. The evening wear, which plays with masculine details, such as collars and cuffs worn instead of jewellery, is instead strictly black and white. As always, many notable guests were attending the show, including Olly, Ignazio Moser e Cecilia Rodriguez, Camille Razat, Myriam Sylla Fatime and Mariasole Pollio.
