37.2 Editions Presents “Les Garçons du Levant” by Mathias Chaillot at Galerie Miranda
Founded by Nicolas Huet Greub 8 years ago, 37.2 has established itself as a major production house and agency, representing artists in the fields of art, fashion and advertising.
But 37.2 is also a publishing house, which presented “Les Garçons du Levant” at Galerie Miranda on Wednesday, showcasing the intense photographic work of Mathias Chaillot.
In this monograph, Mathias Chaillot invites us to explore a touching male sensibility, devoid of artifice. Having spent four summers on an island in the Levant among a group of friends and lovers, he captured many moments of intimacy and abandonment. This photographic project stands out for its ability to depict nudity not as an object of desire, but as an authentic expression of human freedom and connection.
The island thus becomes a space for play and experimentation, where social barriers and conventions fall away. Through his photographs, Mathias Chaillot reminds us that true beauty lies in the simplicity and authenticity of human relationships.
At the signing event, this celebration of masculine tenderness in all its complexity and gentleness gathered Alexandre Haefeli, Shelby Duncan, Enzo Tonati, Tania Rat Patron, Arthur Delloye, Aude Schaller, Antoine Hénault, Andras Komar, Florian Bardou, Tom de Pékin, Inès Dieleman.
