11 Juillet Makes its Parisian Debut During Haute Couture Week
Founded by twin sisters and visionaries Mary Kay Bowden and Kim Wilson, the brand 11 Juillet is named after the shared birthday of its founders, on July 11th. Their idea was to create leather goods with quality encrusted snap closures. They came up with the Clémentine bag, made from full grain Italian leather and adorned with a star emblem crafted from malachite, mother of pearl, onyx and a 6,4 diamond. Following this success, they also designed a bag inspired by the sounds and architecture of New York’s Upper East Side, which they translated into a refined tote. In keeping with the founders’ credo, each piece is hand-crafted and custom-made, and reflects the confidence, glamour and joie de vivre they wish to pass along. They believe that every sophisticated woman deserves to embrace these qualities.
They shared this belief during an intimate dinner at Caviar Kaspia, where they presented “Éclat de joie”, their latest collection of jewellery and handbags, which brought together Tina Leung, Julia Von Boehm, Karen Binns and many others.
