Girls Support Girls: A Tradition Worth Keeping
New tradition obliges, “Girls support Girls” hosted its quarterly dinner at Fouquet’s on November 8. This initiative, launched in 2019 by producer of Daïda Films Vanessa Djian and A&K Communication publicist Karolyne Leibovici, brings together women from the French cinema industry for a networking dinner. Born from the wish to build a support network and to promote sisterhood among women working in the Film industry, “Girls support Girls” has become the sorority of the 7th art. This edition, which counted on the support of the groupe Barriere, allowed 30 women all working in different divisions of the field (producers, authors, actresses, directors, agents, film score composers, distributors, advertisers, etc.) to meet and discuss their practices and experiences in the industry. The evening was topped up with special gifts from the partner brands Louboutin beauty and Rituals.
