Triennale Milano Celebrates its Patrons with a Cocktail and the Exhibition “Il nostro tempo”

By now, it has become a traditional year-end event. The evening that Triennale Milano dedicates to its Patrons—a dynamic community of supporters actively involved in the life of the Milanese institution through a series of events ranging from private meetings with curators, artists, architects, and designers to trips across Italy and abroad—was once again a moment of celebration. This exclusive gathering saw the participation of several prominent figures, including the hosts Stefano Boeri, President of Triennale Milano, and Carla Morogallo, General Director of Triennale Milano, alongside Chiara Agradi, curator at Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, and the Scientific Committee of Triennale Milano: Marco Sammicheli, Director of the Museo del Design Italiano and curator for design, fashion, and craftsmanship; Damiano Gullì, curator for contemporary art and the Public Program; Nina Bassoli, curator for architecture, urban regeneration, and cities; and Umberto Angelini, Artistic Director of Triennale Milano Teatro.

Launched in January 2023 during the celebrations for the Institution’s Centenary, the Triennale Milano Patron Program is a private patronage initiative that boasts a diverse network, making it one of the Institution’s brightest assets.

The other night, guests not only attended the 2023-2024 Annual Report of the Patron Program and enjoyed a holiday cocktail on the Terrazza Triennale but also had the exclusive opportunity to preview the brand-new exhibition presented by Triennale Milano and Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, Our Time, CinéFondationCartier. The exhibition officially opens to the public on December 12. More than a traditional showcase, it is a true journey through the cinematic works of twelve artists and filmmakers—from Raymond Depardon and Claudine Nougaret to Agnès Varda and Wang Bing—offering their perspectives on the present, history, and, more broadly, humanity itself.
