Mathieu Cesar Customizes the Legendary Alpine A110
A sports car that became a legend in the 1960s, the Alpine A110 was reborn in 2017 into a new contemporary version bearing countless nods to its glorious predecessor. An utter international sensation, this new model became a favourite and spurred multiple collaborations, giving it unprecedented twists that made it irresistible to collectors. The latest is this monochrome version by contemporary artist Mathieu Cesar, who has transposed his signature black and white gradient to the interior and exterior of the car. On the evening of the unveiling, where guests played being big kids around an electric circuit to the sound of Dorion’s DJ set, we met Zinédine Zidane, Sabina Socol, Kim Higelin, Jamel Debbouze, Soko, Alice Grenier Nebout, and Willy Cartier.
