Showichi Kaneda x Balenciaga: Jaws of Hell

Won four times by Max Verstappen, the Las Vegas Grand Prix is not only a legendary circuit, but also an inspiration for many creative projects. In the wake of the collaboration between Lewis Hamilton and Tyler the Creator, Balenciaga commissioned artist Showichi Kaneda to imagine a sculpture inspired by F1. Inspired by the ferocity of the harsh competition between the teams, the artist brought his own twist and came up with a hammerhead shark shape. On the sides of the body, he added the Balenciaga lettering, just like F1 sponsors usually do on racing cars. This Jaws-worthy sculpture definitely caught our eye.
