Bottega Veneta arrives at Design Miami with The Ark, a lounge chair collection that is a mix of design, nostalgia and pure creativity. Designed by Matthieu Blazy, this limited series is inspired by the legendary Sacco by Zanotta, the iconic armchair created in 1968, known among design addicts for its softness. Blazy has reinterpreted it in an original way by transforming the armchairs from simple seats to real creatures.

Blazy has played with the malleable shape of the Sacco, transforming it into a series of fantastic animals that seem to have come out of a dream: there is the dog and the panda, the rabbit and the ladybug, the snake and even a whale. Each piece is a journey into boundless creativity, perfectly in line with the theme of the 2024 edition that celebrates optimism.

The collection, presented during the Bottega Veneta SS25 fashion show at Milan Fashion Week, includes 15 animals in various colors. But there is an exclusive for Design Miami: the light gray rabbit and the white hen. They will be available only here in Florida, a stone’s throw from the Ocean.
