The 8th Edition of the A ppr oc he Fair Opens its Doors
This 8th edition of the fair features 15 solo shows by French and international artists, providing a rich and comprehensive overview of the most cutting-edge experimentations regarding image-based media. Memory and identity, themes recurrently explored by contemporary artists, are at the heart of this year’s edition, which also hosts PODA, La Petite Oeuvre d’Art, a collection of 400 photographs by 14 artists, displayed in a unique format. Always on the lookout for alternative exhibition formats, a ppr oc he has teamed up with Ikigai Labs, a platform specialising in showcasing digital art within virtual spaces, fostering the dialogue between creators and collectors. Together, the two entities are launching “a ppr oc he extended”, an innovative and virtual version of the salon, to be held from November 15th to 17th. Co-curated by Dominique Moulon, an expert in virtual spaces and new exhibition modes, this project aims to establish a link between the physical presence of the fair at Le Molière and Ikigai Labs’ virtual artistic proposal.
During the opening, we had the pleasure of meeting Emilia Genuardi, founder and director of the fair, alongside Marc Donnadieu, Guillaume Piens, Andrea Ponsini, Aurélia Marcadier, and Michel Poivert.
