It was back in 1958 that the Marine Nationale (French Navy) commissioned a collection of watches to TUDOR. Designed to meet high technical demands, the watch successfully passed the bombardment of tests to which it was subjected and became part of the equipment worn by divers of the prestigious Hubert commando unit. To pay tribute to this first foray into the promised sea, the watch manufacturer is releasing this Pelagos version with GMT function. A light and relatively slim titanium case housing a robust bezel ring, with up to 65h of battery life. Embracing the vintage look, while avoiding caricature, it takes up the codes of the Navy without drowning in them. 42mm, 5-year warranty, water-resistant to 200m, an attractive and reasonable model to consider just as the Christmas holidays approach.
