“Good Morning Korea”, Guerlain’s New Exhibition for Art Basel Paris
“Good Morning Korea, Au pays du matin calme” is the theme of the 17th contemporary art exhibition of Maison Guerlain, located on 68 Avenue des Champs-Elysées. It offers an artistic journey to South Korea through the perspectives of several generations of artists. Curated by Hervé Mikaeloff, the pieces presented in this exhibition highlight the strong ties South Korean artists have with nature, technology and contemporary societal issues, revealing the diversity and evolution of Korean society and the richness of its cultural heritage. By bringing together artists from different generations and backgrounds, this exhibition highlights a singular approach to the contemporary South Korean scene. It creates a captivating dialogue between intangible and tangible heritage, tradition and innovation, through visionary works.
At the opening, we met Gabrielle Saint Genis, Natalia Vodianova, Ann-Caroline Prazan, Thierry Wasser, Delphine Jelk, Begum, Shourouk, Baptiste Masseline, Audrey Marnay, Aure Atika and HK Kwon.
