Quentin Bisch Presents Issey Miyake’s New Fragrance for Men

In the aftermath of Paris Fashion Week, Issey Miyake introduced its new fragrance for men, LE SEL D’ISSEY, 30 years after the launch of L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme.

Quentin Bisch, the nose behind LE SEL D’ISSEY, imagined this fragrance around an element that has no smell: salt. Much more than just a scent, the perfumer has given it a fresh, incisive olfactory signature, that smells both of wood and the sea, thanks to laminar algae, oak moss, vetiver and cedar wood and a hint of ginger. This is a bright fragrance with a vibrant, modern trail that pays homage to the brand’s DNA. The minimalist, elegant design of the refillable bottle was made by Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka.

The launch party for this new fragrance was attended by Willy Cartier, Romain Costa, Matthias Geerts and many other creative talents from the Parisian scene.
