Six Senses x Zighy Bay: You Reap What You Sow

Nowadays, hotel trade is the main sector to be impacted by climate change, as it has to preserve a certain idea of luxury and comfort while striving to become more ethical. The Six Senses Zighy Bay hotel in Oman has been awarded the prize for the World’s Leading Sustainable Water & Waste Innovation 2024, created by the World Sustainable Travel & Hospitality Awards. Located on the country’s northern Musandam Peninsula, it is the first resort inspired by Oman’s indigenous culture and environment. It features 82 Omani-style villas built in natural stone and wood. On the food side, guests will enjoy the best of the Bedouin culture, such as the vegetable garden and local fish and livestock: all in all, a menu as local as it is modern.
