Cecilie Bahnsen SS25: Technical Apparel with a Touch of Romance
Sometimes less is more. Using black and white as the main tones, brightened up by a few touches of pastel blue and khaki, Cecilie Bahnsen proves that a minimal colour palette can be just as effective. This chromatic choice ultimately enhances the refinement and sophistication of her designs, all while reflecting a certain sensitivity to the pressing environmental challenges.
This Spring-Summer collection also marks the label’s first collaboration with The North Face, an alliance that opens the door for the Danish designer to play with technical apparel, which she’s been doing alongside Asics for a while. As seasons tend to blend into one another, Bahnsen proposes hybrid pieces adaptable to all climate conditions. With this collaboration, she manages to blend her romantic and ethereal style with the technical clothing of the outdoor gear label, which results in pieces that are both feminine and functional. Her signature is, of course, very present through all garments, through their sculptural volumes, transparencies, organza, and floral finishings.
On the front row, we spotted Loic Prigent, Sarah Andelman, Akimoto Kozue, Kristen Bateman and Maïna Suarez, to name but a few.
