From the start, the chain Not An Hotel did things differently by entrusting each establishment to an artist. The group decided to leave their most recent one in the hands of NIGO, Kenzo’s Artistic Director, a DJ and the founder of the brands BAPE and Human Made. Close with Pharrell Williams, he imagined a unique hotel located in an idyllic bay near Tokyo, accessible only by a long tunnel that goes through a cliff. His artworks are paired with furniture by French masters Jeanneret and Prouvé, which subtly complement the elegant atmosphere. Visitors will be able to enjoy a refined cuisine, along with the swimming pool, the hammam and the local bath ceremony. We couldn’t be happier about this.
