The Palais Galliera Celebrates Art and the Paralympics With a Unique Show

For the 2024 Paralympic Games, Parisian museums presented multiple exhibitions about accessibility, creativity and exploration of the connections between art and sports. At the Palais Galliera, the exhibition “Fashion on the Move #2” questions the influence of movement in fashion with a focus on outfits and creations that have gone down in history. To take things a step further, Paris Musées and the Galliera museum are presenting the inclusive show “À l’Unisson”. This experimental contemporary dance show features Olympic and Paralympic athletes, professional dancers, amateurs and public figures in a performance that questions the relationship with the body and how we deal with what’s different. The show was created by Paralympic athlete Arnaud Assoumani and choreographer Mourad Bouayad as part of the Cultural Olympiad of the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games. At the premiere, we had the pleasure of meeting Anne-Sophie de Gasquet, Pierre Rabadan, Carine Rolland, Yves Saint-Geours and many others.
