Never before had the company been faced with such a challenge: making 1,500 outfits for French athletes at the Olympic Games opening ceremony in Paris. With shoe sizes ranging from 34 to 46, and outfits from 3XS to 6XL, the workers had to create the ceremonial outfits for the champions in just a few months, in accordance with the artistic guidelines of Carine Roitfeld, who presided over the design. These midnight-blue tuxedos are the epitome of French excellence, brimming with detail and featuring Berluti’s specialty, patina, made red, white and blue for the occasion.
