Save the date: September 12th. On that day Illy will celebrate the second anniversary of the splendid Milanese flagship store illy Caffè Monte Napoleone, reopened after the restyling project designed by ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.

The project, curated by one of the most important architecture and interior design studios in Italy, is the expression of the brand’s identity through the use of the color red. The relaxed and elegant atmosphere of the spaces is the result of the use of natural materials such as wood and warm colors in coffee tones. The project, presented in 2022, is inspired by the dynamic style of Italian cafés and consists of a flexible space, which combines the classic materials of Milanese interiors, such as hand-crafted floor tiles, with the recycled glass of the mosaic tiles on the walls and the oak wood paneling of the bar. The courtyard, also with a typically Milanese flavour, dialogues with the interiors in an experience enriched by green elements, such as the bamboo on the backdrop and the magnolia in the centre.

For the special birthday, every corner of the Milanese boutique will be set up to offer guests a multi-sensory experience. Thanks to special tasting experiences, evocative settings and disco vibes that will bring coffee lovers into the Illy universe (credits Giulio Boem).
