Shawn Stüssy’s adventure begins in the 80s. The talent of this Californian surfer led him to design his own surfboards, which he signed with his name in a graffiti-style. At the time, this innovative idea allowed him to make a name for himself in his community, for whom he designed T-shirts bearing what was to become his logo. In the meantime, Stüssy has become one of the great references in streetwear, with numerous collaborations. The brand has set about revisiting a legendary Nike model, the LD-1000, which establishes the brand’s original look: the embossed checkered sole and the iconic comma.
