Marine Serre’s “Sempre Legati” Show Stands for Peace

In the gardens of Villa di Maiano, on the outskirts of Florence, Marine Serre presented her Spring/Summer 2025 collection, Sempre Legati. As the Guest Designer of Pitti Uomo 106, the French designer born in 1991, showcased 49 models, presenting womenswear, couture, and, for the first time, menswear.

Marine Serre’s first show outside Paris was inspired by the aura of the 15th-century location, as can be seen in the voluminous skirt paired with a crystal top that lit up the runway. The designer conveyed the essence of her brand through various reinterpretations of the crescent moon monogram, seen in transparent jumpsuits, trench coats, pants, and men’s jackets paired with bermuda shorts, reimagining the formal wear.

There were also many references to sportswear, with zippers and backpack straps incorporated into dresses, blending the essentials of French couture with experimental pieces. Like that, Marine Serre evolved the concept of Regeneration, fundamental to the brand since its debut collection in 2016. The show concluded with ten all-white outfits, giving a message of unity, also clearly visible through peace slogans printed on the clothes, emphasizing a universal bond that can also be created through fashion.

Sitting in the front row, italian artists such as Blanco and Tedua, as well as international stars like Ronisia and Asap Ferg, all applauding this debut.
