Basketball meets fine watchmaking thanks to the brand new partnership between Giannis Antetokounmpo and Breitling. The Swiss luxury watch manufacturer has in fact dedicated the Chronomat Giannis Antetokounmpo to the star, a series of limited edition timepieces that tells in the best possible way all the athlete’s energy and his climb to the Olympus of champions, from the pitches of Athens to the NBA. «Giannis transformed himself into a collaborator who contributed to the project with his aesthetic taste and indomitable spirit», says Georges Kern, CEO of Breitling.

The Chronomat Giannis Antetokounmpo has a bold design and is available in two versions: a 40mm steel Chronomat GMT and a 42mm gold Chronomat B01 chronograph. Everything in this superwatch seems to embody the spirit of the Milwaukee Bucks power forward: Antetokounmpo’s personality is in every detail, from the initials “GA” on the central hand, to the basketball emblem in the chronograph counter, up to the nuances of the dial that refers to the social colors of his team. Both watches are limited editions, at 1750 pieces for the GMT and 250 for the chronograph. All models are sold with special edition Giannis Antetokounmpo packaging that includes a note from the “Greek Freak” himself. “There is a video that immortalizes the moment I saw the chronograph for the first time,” says Antetokounmpo. «I was ecstatic to see him born. My heart is kept in each of these watches.”
