The Long-Awaited Launch of the Fondation Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse
The Fondation Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse was launched on Thursday, May 23rd. Its ambition is to unite influential figures, art and culture lovers, as well as any company or individual who wishes to support an innovative project at the heart of society. The mission of the Fondation Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse, sponsored by the Fondation de France, is to support initiatives that promote artistic creation and dissemination on a national and international scale, provide access to culture for as many as possible, promote digital creation and enhance the heritage of Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse. The Fondation contributes to the promotion of dance as an artistic practice that fosters freedom of expression, cultural diversity and the defense of human rights.
The audience was delighted to see Rachid Ouramdane’s fabulous performance in the presence of Minister for Culture Rachida Dati, followed by a speech by the director of Chaillot and the president of the Fondation. During the cocktail party, Rachid Ouramdane, Laurent Martinet and Pierre Lungheretti were joined by Arnaud Valois, Jessy Salomee Ugolin, Pascale Cayla, Audrey Druesne, Edouard Chapot and Mathieu Touze.
