The Coveted Oh Canada Party with Augustinus Bader at La Terrasse by Albane
Oh Canada tells the story of a troubled writer, Leonard Fife, played by Richard Gere alongside Uma Thurman, who flees to Canada to escape conscription during the Vietnam War. Directed by Paul Schrader, this puzzle film is a loose adaptation of Russell Banks’ novel Foregone. The film marks Richard Gere’s return to the Croisette, and at the dinner organized with the support of Augustinus Bader at La Terrasse by Albane, he seemed to be in great shape! During this coveted evening, we met Richard Gere alongside his partner Alejandra Silva and son Homer James Gere, as well as Nicolas Cage, Penelope Mitchell, Taylor Jeanne, Rosalie Varda and Jérôme Pulis.
