Conte Group and 13.1 Architecture & Decor Create a Dream Home
Conte Group, synonymous with comfort and quality internationally, has chosen the epicentre of the fashion quadrilateral, via Montenapoleone 18, as the location of the new Casa Conte, inaugurated during Milan Design Week. The 400 square meters on the third floor of Palazzo Melzi di Cusano, an architectural jewel of Italian Neoclassicism built in 1830, have been completely renovated and furnished by Filippo Fiora and Federico Sigali’s 13.1 Architecture & Decor, with the Atrium custom-made furniture collection, manufactured by Conte of course, apart from the kitchen, made by Scic. The concept is that of the imaginary home of a contemporary traveller in the world of art and knowledge, in search of experiences and works that can enrich the mind as well as his own environment. As a matter of fact the apartment contains works of modern art and ancient artefacts, supplied by Cardi Gallery, custom-made furnishings and innovative elements. The atmosphere is that of a private art gallery where present and past mix. The project was an idea of Ferdinando Conte, CEO of the group of the same name, to create a container to celebrate creativity and excellence, a multifunctional space, an exclusive and representative showroom, devoted to custom products, in which both the company and its partners can exhibit limited edition collections. The rooms unfold one after the other, two elegant living rooms, a dining room, a majestic working kitchen with an island that proves perfect for food & drinks events and a bedroom that represents the beating heart of the identity of the Conte brand, from which this Milanese project arose.
