Artist Devon DeJardin presents his collaboration with All Rights Reserved. The majestic sculptures within this project confirm the themes of protection, guidance, and growth. These topics are deeply resonant for the sculptor, originally from Portland, Oregon, but now based in Los Angeles for some time. The project showcases one of the artist’s most beloved series: that of the “Guardians,” entities and forces capable of protecting and propelling us toward growth. Through the “Guardian Alastor” sculptures, DeJardin manages to encapsulate these concepts, inviting the audience to reflect on what it means to be protected and nurtured in everyday life. Crafted in painted bronze and limited to an edition of 20 pieces, these works measure H280 x L215 x P180 mm. “The most intriguing aspect,” DeJardin himself recounted, “is that the sculptures provide a sense of permanence; they are tangible, three-dimensional objects that endure over time. I hope that the idea of placing a ‘Guardian’ figure in various locations around the world, during a period of global instability such as the one we are experiencing today, can offer a certain degree of comfort and protection to those who welcome them.” Attention collectors: the series will be available from February 21st: registration is open on DDTStore.com, while the deadline to enter the draw is set for February 25th at 12:00 EST.
