BAM, the Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano, and Volvo Studio Milano are once again collaborating for the second edition of Visioni Diacroniche. The project, entirely dedicated to contemporary art, is curated by Francesca Colombo, General Cultural Director of the library, and Ilaria Bonacossa, Director of the National Museum of Digital Art, in partnership with Volvo Car Italia. The new series of three events, hosted at the Volvo Studio in Viale della Liberazione, Milan, will feature prominent artists such as Italians Franco Mazzucchelli and Marinella Senatore, along with Serbian artist Ana Prvački. All will be engaged in exploring the captivating theme of “universes where the micro becomes macro and vice versa”. “The second edition of Visioni Diacroniche”, explains Chiara Angeli, Head of Commercial Operations at Volvo Car Italia, “offers us the opportunity to convey the values of our brand in a creative and suggestive way through a project that explores new horizons, an approach that is in Volvo’s DNA”. However, the initiative is also in perfect harmony with the mission of Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano, which boasts a cultural program of over 300 events per year, designed as a constant dialogue between nature and culture. During the events, the artists will offer their unique perspectives on the relationship between technology, humanity, and the surrounding environment. The rendezvous will take place on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm from February to April. The first event is scheduled for February 15th with Mazzucchelli, who will conduct a performative lecture dedicated to his large sculptures made of air and plastic. By Germano D’Acquisto
