As the footwear industry embraces more sustainable practices, renowned Italian brands Garmont and ACBC join the movement with a very special collaboration. The project began in September in Milan and was presented in Florence at the Pitti Uomo 105, in a luxury urban fashion boutique specialising in sports footwear, located in the very central Piazza degli Strozzi. The highlight of the partnership is the Lagom sports shoe, an entirely vegan, low-carbon creation. Lagom is not only fashionable but also environmentally friendly, made from recycled materials such as Re Pet fabric, and featuring a Bio-Eva midsole. After this first Florentine presentation, the collection will be shown in Rome, and then in Milan during Milan Fashion Week, in February 2024. In short, the collaboration between Garmont and ACBC shows that quality fashion can be both stylish and environmentally friendly.
